Established in 1975 by my parents, our family-run gallery began as an Auckland boutique specialising in opal gemstones and jewellery. An interest in the arts and connections with local makers led us to gradually introduce fine sculptural artworks by New Zealand artists, adding another dimension to our offering.

Over time, a superlative collection of carving, bronze and glass sculpture established Gallery Pacific's distinctly local identity and reputation. We have nurtured and maintained relationships with artists from across New Zealand, building trust and gaining insight into their practice. Today, drawing on fifty years of experience and knowledge, the core of our business remains active and dynamic. We continue to be inspired to design and present elegantly simple jewels showcasing the rare beauty of New Zealand Blue Pearl and Australian Opal.

After more than 25 years in Queens Arcade in downtown Auckland, Gallery Pacific is entering a new chapter. While the historic building undergoes refurbishment, we have taken the opportunity to operate primarily as an online gallery.
