Adam Blackwell
Adam Blackwell is farmer working the land 'up North'. He creates one special artwork for Gallery Pacific: articulated Crayfish sculptures in bronze and, occasionally made of solid sterling silver. He is one of two artist sculptors we represent (the other being Ken Auton), whose careers started with a formal apprenticeship in jewellery manufacture.
Creative art-making journey
Adam Blackwell uses jewellery making techniques in his bronze Crayfish sculptures. When you pick them up the antennae and tail move in a surprisingly realistic manner.
